Spalding, Lincolnshire

From 1983 until 1995 I was privileged to work in two of the oldest and most interesting buildings in Spalding.

From 1982 to 1983 I was a volunteer at Ayscoughfee Hall Museum, then I worked at the Parish Church organising displays and events for the 700th Anniversary in 1984, then from 1985 until 1995 I worked at Ayscoughfee Hall museum again.

During these 13 years I was able to research quite a lot about the history of Spalding and of these two buildings.  I have begun to transfer all of the books, pamphlets and worksheets I produced then onto computer and hope to make them available as soon as possible.

The History of Ayscoughfee Hall (for South Holland District Council)

The Johnson Family of Ayscoughfee Hall (for South Holland District Council)

The Monumental Inscriptions in Spalding Parish Church (for the Parish Church)

Spalding in the 18th Century (as part of a dissertation for an Open University Degree)
